Nestled in the heart of the Big Thicket, Indian Springs is blessed with giant oak, beech, bay, magnolia, cypress, hickory and pine. Inside the grounds of her 200 acres, you will have a chance to experience "life at one with nature". The camp offers more than three miles of nature trails and over a mile of Village Creek frontage. With its white sandbars and lazy flowing water, Village Creek is one of the most popular canoe streams in Southeast Texas. Activities
Experience our obstacle courses, hiking, canoeing and swimming. If your love is fishing, Village Creek and some of the cypress "black water" sloughs will fulfill your every desire of catching the "big one". The camp contains a great diversity of animal and plant life just waiting for your "outdoor" study program. Nature trails will take you through some of the most scenic areas of the thicket.
